History of 319 RCSCC Centurion
Our Corps is based off three ships named HMS Centurion which helped in many operations from 1774 to 1944.
1990
The Founding of the Corps
RCSCC Centurion was founded in 1990 by Bill Wilson, due to the growing population in suburban Ottawa.
1992
Early Staff and Training
A small group of CIC officers were recruited and training commenced in September 1992.
1998
Training Locations
Until 1998, RCSCC Centurion trained in schools around Kanata. They then moved into Connaught Range and Primary Training Center and aquired the nearby portables in 1999.
2019
Growth and Achievement
The corps has reached an all time high of 70 cadets and continues to compete and win many sailing, band, drill, and range competitions.Â
